Frequently asked Q & A
Q: There has been much news around the Government Employees' Pension Fund the past month, is my money still safe with the NFMW?
A: The NFMW is aware of the news around the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) and the assets they manage on behalf of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF). It is, however, very important to note that the National Fund for Municipal Workers has no association with the GEPF or with this specific asset manager. NFMW members therefore have no reason for concern and can rest assured that this has no effect on their retirement savings.
